Lesson Rates 

 

  • Group: $145.00 per month (due on the 1st of the month & no additional cost for 5 lessons in one month).
  • Individual Group: $35.00 per lesson
  • Semi-private: $155.00 per person (no additional cost for 5 lessons in one month)
  • Individual Semi-private: $40.00 per lesson
  • Private per month: $195.00 per person (no additional cost for 5 lessons in one month)
  • Private (45 min - 1 hour): $50.00 per lesson
  • Two family members: $270.00 per month
  • Horse Training / Exercising: $35.00 an hour or in place of a lesson and $17.50 for a half hour
  • Groom, Braiding, Barn Management Clinics: $50.00 per student and $90.00 for two family members

 

Additional rides without instructor:

$25.00 if the rider had a lesson during the week or lesson was cancelled by instructor.

$35.00 if the rider had no lesson during the week (may take the place of a missed lesson)

Note: Only available to lesson students of the intermediate level or higher. Jumping must be approved by instructor. The date, time, and animal must also be approved by management. Horse/pony must be cooled off properly and the animal is to be returned to the correct place (field or stall depending on the animals schedule)

Other Services

 

HORSE OR PONY LEASING:

The minimum lease is 60 days. Each lessee must give center 60 days notice of cancellation. The lease automatically renews if you do not give 30 days notice of cancellation prior to your ending contact date.

Lessee is responsible for the percentage of the board and the percentage of the animals general maintenance (worming, farrier,dentist,or any medicines that help the animal do his/her job.). Major medical is the responsibility of the owner.

Full 100% and half 50% leases are available :

Full lease 100% of the board and expenses and Half lease 50% of the board and expenses. All leases are considered free leases. There is no charge for the value of the horse. Some leases in the community charge 1/3 of the value of the horse each year plus the cost of the board and expenses.

 

 

PONY / HORSE SHOW RENTAL:

To show you must rent for the day, hold a lease contract for your animal or personally own your horse. Anyone showing in pointed divisions must lease or own thier own animal.

**Update: Rentals are no longer available to BCHSA and HHSA (only the MILL SERIES). Riders must lease to attend the other horse shows.**

Cost:  All of the following fees are to be paid the day of the show - No exceptions

  1. Hauling fees (see below) to be paid to Paddock Place.
  2. Trainer fees at the horse show (generally the same cost as one lesson). Each trainer will charge his/her own fee.  
  3. Entry fees for show (to be paid directly to the farm hosting the show)
  4. Pony & Horse - Show Rental:
    • Only applies to  the Mill Series - $50.00 per rider
    • Renatl fee applies if you do not lease or own.

    SHOWING DIVISIONS:

  • Long Stirrup
  • Short Stirrup
  • Equitation Horse Divisions and Pony Divisions must lease a horse or pony to show.
  • Lead Line, (children 7 and under as of December prior to season starting) 
  • Mini Stirrup (children 10 and under as of December prior to season starting) do not have to lease a pony to show but must pay a pony/horse rental fee for the day and a maintance fee for the month.

SCHOOLING FEES at SHOW:

  • $20.00 lead line.
  • $25.00 mini riders.
  • $35.00 all others.

RING RENTAL:

  • $25.00 per horse/pony

BOARDING:

  • Non-lesson Horse: *$450.00 per horse (full care) not currently in the lesson program.
  • Lesson Horse & Pony:*$375.00 ($13. per day) per horse & pony (full care) if currently in the lesson program.
  • Rough Board - Lesson Pony: $315.00 per pony rough board (hay fed)-only available to lesson students, (Stall for horse show $10.00 per pony).
  • Full Board with Lessons: $560.00 per month
  • Lay-ups: $25.00 per day to include bandaging, wrapping and walking.; $15.00 per day-feeding and stall care only,(this is not extra it is the board cost for the period of time the animal is laid up.).

 

HAULING:

  • $65.00. per horse (BCHSA or HHSA)
  • $65.00 per horse (The Mill Series)
  • $ TBD for rated show (MDHSA) 

(prices can change depending on trailer circumstances and fuel costs). Hauling costs are split between riders of each animal.

 

GROOM FEES:

Early morning:  $15.00 (groom will wrap animal and load on trailer).

For anyone wishing to have their animaly put on the trailer in the morning before the show:

Afternoon/evening: $15.00. (groom will water animal, check hay, unload animal, and take off wraps). For anyone wishing to leave the show early,  

TAKE HORSE OFF TRAILER AND PUT TO BED- $15.00

TOTAL DAY CHARGE $50.00

 

Note: lessees may not leave their animal with another person and leave the show grounds unless the animal is being shared with that person.

VET, DENTIST & FERRIER FEES:

  • $20.00 Meeting/holding fee, (plus cost of service).
  • $7.00 for worming (plus cost of wormer)
